Brass Staff

Carolina Herrera is an Instrumental Music Education Major at Middle Tennessee State University. Her primary instrument is the French Horn, but she specializes in all brass. 

She plays for the MTSU Wind Ensemble and previously performed with the MTSU Band of Blue, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber groups throughout her time. Originally from Murfreesboro TN, she attended Siegel High School and has performed with the Marching Band and Wind Ensemble, along with TMEA All-State Band, Mid-State Band, and Mid-State Orchestra. 

Ms. Herrera is in her third year as brass staff with the Page High School Band and has worked with the brass to develop healthy fundamental playing skills, along with crafting excellent musicianship. 

After graduating college, Ms. Herrera plans to teach Middle School Band and work with local High School Marching Bands in the area. She also plans to get her Master's in Conducting, along with other higher education pursuits.
