Amber Talbot

Color Guard staff

Amber  Talbot is a seasoned Color Guard and Dance Educator with over 25 years of experience in the industry. She started her journey in high school as a member of the Color Guard and Dance Team, where she excelled and earned her letters in both. She was an avid performer, marching with the DCI group Troopers, and was due to march the next year with the Blue Knights before health issues forced her to step back from performing.

Amber then turned to teaching, as she traveled around Northern Utah, writing and teaching  Marching Band and Winter Guard shows. During this time, she also earned her degree in Business Management. After starting a family, Amber continued her dance training, focusing on modern and lyrical dance.

In  2013, Amber made her return to teaching Color Guard in Virginia. She later relocated to Tennessee and taught at Spring Hill High School before moving on to Brentwood High School, where she spent four years. In 2022,  Amber joined the Page High School team bringing her learning of different styles and skills along her way.

Amber is passionate about helping students find their love for performing and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with them. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills and explored different styles, making her a valuable asset to any program.
