Support the Band!
Fund Raising Programs
The Page High School Band Boosters have put together a number of fund raising programs to help generate funds to help grow this band.
There are three in particular that through your participation (and anyone else you can get to help) will put money into your
student’s suggested band donation total. These include:
These are all voluntary programs, and your participation determines how much goes into your student’s suggested band donation total
or into the general band donations fund.
Feel free to contact the chairperson of each activity for more information.

Sponsorship Donation Form
The Individual Sponsorship Donation Form is a letter you can personally address to friends,
family and neighbors requesting support for the Fred J. Page Marching Band via a sponsored donation. You decide who to
send it to and are responsible for mailing it to them.
There are multiple donation levels outlined in the letter, ranging from a $1 donation per show (for $20) to a $20 donation
per show (for $400).
If someone chooses to sponsor a donation in your name, they should complete the bottom of the page and mail it along
with a check to the address on the form. The PHS Band Treasurers will record each donation to the sponsored student’s
suggested band donation total for the season.

Concession Work at Bridgestone Arena and LP Field
As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we have the opportunity to work the concession stands at Bridgestone Arena
and LP Field for virtually every scheduled event. We are volunteers and work for CAFE, which donates a certain guaranteed amount
to the PHS Band Booster organization. This money (90%) for each event you work deposits directly into the account for your student’s
suggested band donation. This has been a GREAT way for parents to turn their spare time into money for their students' suggested band donation totals for the season.
Here are the details:
- Adults MUST attend a CAFE training session to be able to work events.
- Page High School Band students 16 years old or older do not need to attend CAFE training and may work events as "runners"
with their parent.
- Events are held throughout the week and weekends - hockey games, concerts, etc. Of course, Titans games during the fall!
- The minimum guaranteed money is $55, per event, per person (parent and student). Fees can reach as high as $150 for large
events, such as the annual CMA Music Festival.
- 90% to your student's suggested band donation & 10% to the general Band donations fund.
- Call times (the times you are expected at the event) vary. Please contact Norma Dunlap for details about each event.

| SCRIP CARDS |
|
| Shop normally and receive money in your student's band account. Getting Started! |

|
Are you familiar with the gift cards that many retailers offer? These can be purchased through
the band and Great Lakes Scrip Company. They are also known as "Scrip." This program allows you to purchase gift cards at face value.
The Great Lakes Scrip company gives the band a percentage of return on all cards purchased. This amount is immediately returned to the Band and
placed in your student's account. The percentages range from 3% up to as much as 25%, with the typical retailer giving back on average of about 9%.
You purchase the cards at full value. The Boosters place orders twice monthly, and return your cards to you within about 4 working days.
Cutoff dates for Scrip orders are typically the first and fifteenth of each month. There are hundreds of retailers who participate in this program,
and many have ScripNow!, by which you can purchase and print Scrip cards at home and start shopping right away! To view the list of participating brands,
please visit www.shopwithscrip.com. This also is the website where you set up an account and place your order.
After you have made your selections and printed your order, please submit it and a check to the Scrip coordinator. All orders will be compiled
and submitted on the next scheduled Scrip order date. It is so easy!

| Wal-mart |
Mariott Hotels |
Best Buy |
| O'Charley's |
Old Navy |
KFC |
| Chili's Restaurant |
TGI Friday's |
Best Western Hotels |
| Pottery Barn |
American Eagle |
Subway |
| Amazon |

and many, many more!
Ask your friends to buy Scrips through you, and that discount also goes into your
student's band account. For more information, contact

KROGER CARES CARDS
Do you shop at Kroger? Would you like 4% of what you spend at Kroger to go into
your student's suggested band donation total? It's so easy! The Kroger Cares program lets you purchase a Kroger gift card through the Page Band Boosters.
Then every time you add money to the card, 4% of what you put on your card goes into your student’s suggested band
donation total. It really is that simple!
(Kroger pays the 4% monthly, based upon the money you load onto your Kroger gift card, not the money you spend at the store.)
You must obtain your Kroger card from the PHS Band Boosters. The card costs $5 and comes with $5 on it, which you may use in conjunction
with any money you load onto the card when you shop. You must keep the same card to continue getting the 4% back.
You can get cards for your friends and neighbors and every time they put money on their card, you get the 4% into your student's band account.
You can add value to your card using a credit or debit card as well as cash or check.
This program has helped many band families meet their student’s suggested band donation for the season. For more information, please email the
PHS Band Treasurers at phsbbtreasurer@gmail.com.
Advertising/Sponsorships
This activity will target businesses and individuals for their support of the band program through the financial sponsorship of the band.
This will consist of advertising their name on our band T-shirt, a banner to be displayed at the concession stand and on our band truck at
competitions and away football games as well as in our concert program. The level of sponsorship will determine the level of name recognition.
Concessions Stand at Home Football Games
The band program is fortunate to be the organization selected to fund and operate the concession stand for all home football games and potentially
other sports activities involving the football stadium. Concessions funds a significant portion of our organization's revenue and requires
the direct involvement and participation of band parents for the program to be successful. Equally important, it is a great way to get to know the
other parents and to become a part of this band program.
Summer Car Washes
During the summer, the PHS Band will hold several car washes at various locations in our community. The students will organize and
operate these car washes under the supervision of the PHS Band Boosters organization.
